EQ2 Forgotten game, but excellent!

I felt compelled to write about EQ2. A game that still has a healthy player population, but seems to have fallen off the earth as far as the game world goes. It has undergone a huge facelift over the years. Many mechanics have changed. Gameplay has been polished. Still not perfect (but what game is) I have tried many other games over the years, and always come back to EQ2 due to never being able to find a game any better. Endless quests to keep one busy. Don't want to quest? Then don't. There is a mass of dungeons to explore, and destroy. Many many raid mobs to slay. I've never found a MMORPG more massive than EQ2. And they keep adding to the world, with the recent launch of it's newest expansion of The Shadow Odyssey. Oh yeah all other previous Ex packs from the past are all included in this newest expansion. Making it quite a deal, I gotta say. I hate to start sounding like a fanboi, but I can't seem to get enuf of this game. And after years of playing, I keep finding new things to do, and keep finding myself looking forward. SOE has announced on EQ2's forums it is adding a bunch of free new content here sometime in about a month for it's endgame players. All I can say is 2 big thumbs up SOE. Thanks for making such a great game. Just too bad, everone seems to have forgotten about it. They are missing out on a smooth running great game, that will keep them busy for years, if they would only give it a try.
