My first PVP experience in any game was in Eve Online. I was pretty much a noob by a veterans standards at the time. This was a few years ago. I was in Kamela 0.4 I think it was, with a friend who was in a battleship. We were in the system alone talking in local, and my friend slipped by saying he was out of ammo just as a pirate came into the system. It seemed like seconds later, I got a private tell from my bud, telling me he was under attack. I was just in a tech 1 Maller, but felt the need to come to my friends aid. So I grouped up with this guy, and warped to him, and found him being attacked by a hoard of drones, and a tech 2 frig I can't remember which ship. Anyways, I attacked this guy, and before long made him go BOOM! Just as several of his pirate friends arrived in the system to help. Me and my friend warped to a safe spot I had saved, and continued to warp around to various safe spots I had previously made to avoid being found. I'll never forget how I was shaking from excitement after this fight. And soon after that I became a pirate myself, and for quite a while was quite the PVP addict on Eve. Looking back now, on those days, was great stuff. Some of the most fun I ever had.
