About 2 weeks ago, I discovered the game, Perfect World. I downloaded it for free off their website. To be honest I didn't expect much. But was dazzled with the graphics, and character creation in the game. The game seemed a bit slow at first. But was fun. The game is built in a way, where everything is an adventure. Right down to the way build your characters using the points they give you each time you level. You can build your toon any way you want. The game is highly addicting, and plays so fantastic. I've had very little lag ever, except in the over populated Archonuar city. But even then, the lag was minimal. Wide open maps, no loading except for occational dungeons. The entire map is free to roam, and full of great quests to keep you busy. The best way I can describe this game is this. It's like they took all the best things from Everquest II, World of Warcraft, and Guild Wars, and improved on them, while adding some of their own ideas, making it an Epic MMO. Did I mention the game is free to get, and even free to play? Oh yeah! The games maker makes it's cash from offering an in game pay with cash store where you can buy fun little trinkets for your toons, to enhance your game play. None of this is really a must have. But some of the stuff is pretty handy. I for one, do not have a problem buying a few things for my toon in the game, when I paid nothing for the game, and play it for free. At least I get what I want. Instead of a monthly charge for a cookie cutter MMO like most other games. If you like EQ2, WOW, or Guild Wars, or any game in this mold. Perfect World is one you really need to check out. I recommend it highly!
